Earlier this week, Kamala Harris sat down for a combative interview with Bret Baier. Because there are two Americas, two internets, two realities, the interview was, depending on who you talk to, either a total disaster that demonstrates her incompetence, or a home run.
Harris supporters point to her response to Trump’s downplaying of his “enemy from within” language as a particularly strong point for her.
The adversarial nature of the interview allowed both sides to walk away declaring victory.
Bret Baier did ultimately apologize for playing what he called the “wrong clip” when asking Harris about Trump’s use of the “enemy from within.”
Over on Univision, Trump took a different kind of grilling, from undecided voters. It wasn’t his best night.

News leaked over the summer that grocery giant Kroger was partnering with Microsoft to use electronic shelf labels, shortened in the grocery industry as ESLs, as part of an AI push to institute dynamic pricing at its grocery stores. The plan also includes so-called Enhanced Display for Grocery Environment (EDGE) shelf displays that would reportedly include cameras to capture customer information, including images of faces to better tailor ads.
