Continued from part 1!

In response to a question on January 6, Trump both defended the Capitol rioters and also claimed he had nothing to do with their actions:

The section on democracy and election integrity ended with this banger:

Onto national security and foreign affairs. The chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal is another section where Trump ostensibly had the edge on Harris going into the debate. Well,

*Wrestlemania voice* finish him

Never forget!

In response to a question on the war between Russia and Ukraine, Kamala brought it right back to Pennsylvania like a pro:

It’s kind of hard to believe that in the 2020 Democratic primary, healthcare was maybe the #1 issue – even before Covid came onto the scene. Now it’s a one off question pushed towards the end of the debate.

Throughout the night, a clear consensus emerged that Kamala ran away with the debate – particularly in comparison to Joe Biden’s performance back in June.

Pundits will always pundit:

One area where Americans on the left and right can surely come together in unison: David Muir.

Before the debate, Kamala’s team once again teased a surprise guest.

Emmy Ruiz, White House political director of 🐝 fame

While there was no surprise in-person guest, Taylor Swift dropped the most coveted endorsement of this entire election cycle:

Sam Altman, she’s coming for you next!!!

But actually:

Anyhow. Congratulations to my brother’s gf Helen, a true Swiftie who has had to through the recent Brittany Mahomes news cycles. Also, I’ll say it! The Tortured Poets Department is (mostly) good!!

Anyhow, that’s a wrap!
